Berså is a subtly dynamic light artwork created for the Karlslundsgården in Örebro, a new nursing home specialised in the care of Alzheimer patients.
My intention was to create nature-inspired and interactive work that invites sensory experience, adding a suggestive and comforting element in the daily life of the residents.
Feeling of being in a leafy room, where the sunrays are shimmering through layers of slowly swaying greenery, inspired me to create Berså.
Berså is integrated in the foyer of the main entrance. It is made of a mirror glass, with integrated dynamic lighting system.
